Devoting time to your new baby can leave you feeling drained and sometimes overwhelmed and you will probably find that your energy levels will fluctuate from one day to the next. At times your body may well feel weak and unfamiliar so it is really important that you get enough sleep and eat a well balanced diet. All too often we hear that it is selfish to put ourselves first but it is so important to when we are new mums. By nurturing ourselves we are able to do the same for our babies. Each week we will be practising breathing, yoga and relaxation techniques to : - Strengthen and tone our abdomen - Realign our spine - Strengthen our pelvic muscles - Maintain good posture - Practice meditation to calm ourselves - Learn about different breathing exercises and how these can affect our energy levels Creche available but welcome to bring your baby to class
