This creative movement session at Rich Mix is designed to give your little one the space, opportunity and time to wiggle around in a safe environment to stimulate their imagination and encourage their development. These lively fun classes, filled with singing, dancing and percussion, are all about taking your child on a musical journey while making new friends and bonding with your child. Each term has a different theme. This time it’s ‘rain’ – appropriately enough! Jolly Babies is for 0-1 year olds, while Music with Mummy is for 1-3 year olds. Free trial sessions available!

If you don’t know what a djembe is, then it’s time to get down to Tots Tunes. These too-cool-for-school sessions are held twice weekly in the Vortex Jazz club and once a fortnight at the Proud Archivist and are perfect for parents who are bored of the Wheels on the Bus and want to introduce their babies or toddlers to some fun world music.

The Purple Teapot Puppet Company

This week, Lauderdale House welcomes the Purple Teapot Puppet Company as part of their series of regular Saturday morning kids shows. This highly original and entertaining production, aimed at children aged 2-7, mixes puppetry, songs and magic with lots of audience participation.

National Portrait Gallery

This new monthly drop-in session for families explores portraits through sound to create a group portrait soundscape. This first session will explore the relationship between sound and vision, giving children the opportunity to get creative with sound recorders, instruments and found material.

Inject some culture into your baby’s life with the monthly Mini Masterpieces event at Dulwich Picture Gallery. Yoga Bums and Healthy Tums

If you have resolved to get back into shape this year, then this is the event for you. London Mothers Club is hosting this yoga and healthy eating event for mums and their children. There will be taster yoga sessions for the mums and children’s yoga sessions for the little ones. There will also be a nutritionist on hand with information on detoxing and healthy eating for both you and your kids.
